The German Society of Winnipeg owns and operates Camp Neustadt, a summer campground that is located 14 kilometers north of Gimli on the shores of Lake Winnipeg.

Camp Neustadt has close to 200 seasonal sites with water and 30 amp electrical services for seasonal campers.  In order to lease a seasonal site at Camp Neustadt you will need to become a member of the German Society of Winnipeg.

The camping season usually begins around May 15 and ends around October 15, depending on the weather.  Sites for daily and weekly rental are also available and feature 30 amp services with water hookups.

Other amenities of Camp Neustadt include two washroom/shower buildings, playground areas, a sports field and volleyball court. For larger gatherings, Camp Neustadt also has a building titled “The Beer Tent” and is available to seasonal campers for private and public functions.
